Gifford Cabin
Built in the fall of 2011 in Freedom, Maine, the Gifford Cabin is a low impact structure. It is off the grid with no running water or electricity for the time being. All wooden building materials come from Maine, including the latter and post and beam element which were harvested from the Gifford land. The south facing wall features three windows while the north wall only one, making the design passive solar. The interior boasts a ladder, loft, and woodstove.
