Grandfather Oak is Trevor Curtin, a second generation carpenter/woodworker with 10 years of experience in the trade. Trevor was born and raised in Tamworth, New Hampshire.

Grandfather Oak takes a responsible and resourceful approach to building, using locally available materials whenever possible, utilizing traditional tools and methods, and designing with the goal of maximizing efficiency and longevity for inhabitants.

This extensive skill range is applied to a wide array of projects, including post and beam structures, custom mill work, stone/earth work, furniture design, and site planning.

When not donning a toolbelt, Trevor is an avid outdoor adventurer, surfing waves on the shores of Maine and climbing faces in the White Mountains.
